I love a good joke, but the park was worked on since at least early spring because I have the photos to prove it. The concrete, the prep for surfaces, the fountain, the new trellis, the new surface, plant removal and more came before the new plants and more could be put in. I don't work for the town, nor do I know their other priorities or what the timeline was. Do you? But for sure, the plantings came last and once they could thrive. For all work to be "done" in early Spring, plants need to go in the year before. So that's what this is, I think.
